Nervous System Regulation
Many people can relate to the feeling of getting emotionally flooded with their partner(s) in ways that feel more overwhelming than in other contexts. That is because our primary attachment bonds are actually coded as life or death in our bodies, so when we have conflict with our partner(s), it can feel like the stake are incredibly high. The first step in relational therapy is to build skills and tools to come back to center when navigating differences with your partner(s).

Differentiation and Communication
Building communication skills that reinforce the ability for each person in the relationship to honor their own experience, while holding curiosity for the experiences of their partner(s) helps to support collaboration and productive co-creation of the relationship moving forward.
-
Self-Awareness
A key component of relational therapy is helping individuals to deepen their understanding of their own desire, concerns, and reactions. We use somatic activities and individual and partnered reflection to deepen self-awareness, and then lean into boldly and compassionately communicating from your own perspective.

Sex Therapy
Utilizing reading and activities in and out of the therapy space, partners explore relational dynamics impacting their sexual connection and deepen their understanding of their own erotic themes and interests, while supporting their partner(s) in doing the same. In session, we build skills in holding space for erotic curiosity and communicating about sexuality in ways that support openness and proactive cultivation of sexual exploration together.
